Cheng Kung Lake and the Banyan Garden

The Cheng Kung Lake and the Banyan Garden are two of the most famous sites located at the Kuang-fu campus. The banyan tree of the garden was planted by the Japanese Emperor and an original species of the Kagoshima city. The tree is gigantic and it is the logo of the Lin-Yuan Croup. The tree is located in the Kuang-fu campus and is a famous attraction site. It is also the spirit of the university stands. The Cheng Kung Lake has a red arch bridge connecting to the center island of the lake. There are willow trees around the lake, making it another famous attraction sites.

Chi-Mei Building

The Chi-Mei building was donated to National Cheng Kung University by the Chi-Mei which Corporation contains Liquid crystal scientific culture hall, Art gallery and Chi-Mei Coffee on the first floor. The area applies the rich collection of art to promote the cultural knowledge of the mass public; as well as making the area become one of the most popular spaces with rich cultural and aesthetics atmosphere in the whole campus.

NCKU Art Gallery

Founded in 1999, the Center was originally created to encourage a campus life that embraces the arts so as to broaden horizons of members of the public as well as the University's staff and students. The Center organizes exhibitions, performances, lectures, educational programs and related events to provide enjoyment and stimulate active interdisciplinary dialogue. In addition, the Center supports two amateur groups, the NCKU Mandolin Orchestra and the Face to Audience theatrical company, consisting mainly of the University’s staff and students.

National Cheng Kung University Museum

The National Cheng Kung University Museum contains the main building of the museum and various buildings of the departments. This makes the National Cheng Kung University a massive museum. Apart from the collection, research, displaying and promotion of exhibitions, there are also some exhibitions are arranged by students.

Flower trail

Dong-feng Road and Lin-sen Road known as the most beautiful road in Tainan City. Kapok blossoms from March to April. Golden Trumpet Tree blossoms from February to March. Golden shower Tree blossoms from May to June. These trees can also be seen in the campus. These are the first choice for students to take pictures of scenic spots.
